Beginner Course

This involves us heading out and getting a feel for the basics of hunting and learning the do’s and don’ts, along with taking an animal for the purpose of breaking it down and learning the basics of bush butchering and recovering meat cleanly. This is a hands-on experience where the course attendees will do majority of the work with our guidance.

Depending on your level of gun handling, this is also an opportunity to touch on the safety aspects involved with handling and shooting firearms prior to heading out in the bush.

Note: With our beginners courses, the guide will perform the shooting

The following mornings hunt will depart before sunrise again and aim to be finished earlier then the previous day by around 9-10 am, with enough time for a bite to eat and to pack-up before leaving the property

Butchering

If you would like the option to run through meat break down/ cuts of meats and sausage making, this is the option for you. This will need to be decided amongst your group prior to commencing, as we will need to allocate time for this. Please note, this means you will need to sacrifice one of your hunts. Note: extra costs will be applicable for cryovac bags, sausage fillings, breadcrumbs, skins, etc. This will be payable on the day.
